Elder Perry on P-Day in a Harley Davidson Shop at Niagara Falls, Ontario |
Dear Mom and Dad,
This week has been a
really good week for us.
We had a baptismal
Interview this week and our investigator passed his
interview…YEA! So, we will be hard at work preparing for the baptism
this Saturday. We have been working on getting all the paperwork filled out and
everything set up. I hope it turns out well.
We also were able to
move a member of the Ward into another area. We really had no problems lifting
the things she had up some stairs into her apartment and were able to help
grease the windows of her apartment as well so she can open her windows easier.

My new companion is
Elder Bertagnolli from Cedar City, Utah. We are getting along great
& work really well together. He’s “Goodfella”!
We have been putting a
lot of information into the computer so that we will have easier access to it
and easier searching ability when looking through former investigators. We did
manage to get it done this week so we will be able to use it in the coming
weeks and see the rewards from it.

We were able to talk to
a guy in a subway and as we talked, we were able to ask him what he has heard about
the church. He said that he had heard some things and we asked if we could meet
with him again. We will be trying to set an appointment with him in the future.
Here is a movie quote I was
thinking about this week. I added what is in the parentheses to make
it apply to our mission.
" We never stop. From the time they get
into the chopper to the tarmac. We never stop.
Being a (spiritual) coroner is
not in our job description".
- The Guardian
Have a Great week and
remember...
I pray for you night & day!
Love,
Elder Perry
